It was such a refreshing experience to see the flee market that it reminded me of Korea. When I was at Korea to get groceries, I went to the stores that took 5 minutes walk from my apartment. There were butcher shop, vegetable shop, fruit shop, fish shop, and like everything! It wasn't something fancy doe. It was just so convenient to get fresh ingredients. And there was a flee market every Tuesdays in my neighbor. It's such a nice way to see your community.
In America, on the other hand, well at least from my experience, to get groceries you have to drive all the way to Walmart, WingCo, CostCo or maybe an Asian market or somethin. Fresh ingredients everyday? it's a bit ridiculous to get groceries everyday here.

It's difficult to see a piece of nature in our generation. It's more natural for us to play around with electronic devices instead of going outdoor for activities or even for a walk. A walk maybe surrounded with buildings and streets. Most of the time everything is processed and packaged as a completed form. Being able to observe the process of something became more unusual. The globalization and capatalism contributed on mass production and connected the global as a one huge community. At some point, we lost our attention or stop caring about the community where we live in. We just focus on the big stuff out there and criticize what's right or wrong. To change/start something it always starts around us first. Or maybe ourselves first. Take a look around you. How much do you know about your community? Improving our lives, will improve our community and it will eventually lead to WORLD PEACE! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Man.. talking about flee market to world peace.. lol |
