Impulsive trip to San Francisco for GAY PRIDE.

Gay, Lesbian and Transgender.
In Korea, it's not a common topic we get to talk about or even be aware of the difference of gay and transgender. When I lived in Korea, I heard about it but didn't have a chance to interact with any of em until I moved to America. I don't know what I expected from them but weirdly (?), I was fine. I assumed I will be either awkward or uncomfortable around them since I was always exposed with prejudice of not being straight is wrong or even considered it as a mental problem. However, after having friends who are gay/lesbian, I didn't understand why liking same sex or considering oneself's as an opposite sex of its biological sex is wrong. They just like different people and accepts them as who they truly are. Not following the traditional idea and value doesn't mean it's wrong. Sometimes I get surprise of myself of thinking this way because I thought living and being educated in Korea for 9 years could of made me to have conservative thought and limited flexibility. However, I guess i'm not lol

Little Star Pizza! When I visited San Francisco last spring break, coincidentally I found this place. It was the best pizza I ever had and always craved it. Since Leo and Michael didn't have a specific menu they wanted, we went to Little Star. It wasn't the same location I went last time but the taste was the same. It's strange doe, the taste was the same but it wasn't good as last time. The memory of your taste doesn't only depends on the smell and the flavor of it. It also includes your mood and the atmosphere when you ate it. I remember the first time I had little star pizza, my friends and I were excited that we found a nice place coincidentally. We also had a wine and took our time to eat and chat. On the other hand, we were in rush. Deep dish pizza takes about 30 minutes to cook, but we had about an hour and a half left in our parking meter. Importantly, we didn't have wine. It was still good doe. I like it how the tomato paste is on top of the cheese. I think, the order of the topping layers does influence the flavor of the pizza. |
The day before the Gay Pride Parade.
Pretty good video I found on youtube to give you an idea what it's like.
At the Pink Party
Not many people where wearing pink for the pink party

Actually, we didn't go to the parade. We were pretty overwhelmed with so many tits and dicks everywhere with so many different class of people... Also, I almost shit my pants or even felt unsafe walking certain streets in San Francisco. At the end of the day, we were too exhausted trying to digest what we saw and experienced that day. With no hesitation and doubt, all three of us agreed changing our plan from going to the parade to going to SIX FLAGS!!! LAMO
